Default Toon or Character?

Edit: Forgot "other" :P

I've seen both terms thrown around in game and on the forums, so what's everyone's preferance?

Personally I go for character/char, since "toon," if I recall, was originally meant for disney's toontown online. In all honesty, GW isn't about throwing pies at destroyers, squirting flame djinns with water hoses, or dropping anvils on charr. But I'll cut myself off before I /rant too long.

So which is it for you?

You forgot about avatar. =P

I prefer character(well, char actually), but I'll use another term if someone mentions another first in a thread. They're pretty much interchangeable.

I find myself using "guy". "Lemme hop on my other guy." Short and sweet for me.

Prefer character myself, doesn't sound as childish as toon lol. Toon just sounds whack lol

Char, character. Toon is just as stupid as Polish girls saying "sweet" all the time.

Toon = cartoon imo.

toon is quicker to type out, character only requires my left hand....so 50/50 depends on what I feel like typing out.

I use "guy" or "char" mostly. I hate the word "toon"!! It's so childish sounding and immature! It sounds lame. That word drives me nuts and yes, it does remind me of ToonTown as well.

I find myself using guy, even though the majority of my characters tend to be female.

I hate toon too. glad I'm not in the minority.

I say char, sometimes character. Saying guy seems best

Yeah... I could never say char cause of this guy here.

So normally I'll say either toon or "my rit", "my war", "my mule", so on and so forth.

I use "char", "character", or "guy". Sometimes I say "brb, hopping on my ranger/dervish/etc."
